Flattening two curves: university in times of climate crisis and corona pandemic.
The climate show presented the results of the Climate Semester - Utopias for the Present - in a digital exhibition and as an online event on Juli 17th 2020.
At the FH Potsdam, in the summer semester 2020, the climate semester, the challenges of the climate crisis were jointly examined and transdisciplinary approaches and sustainable options for action for the here and now were developed.
As a conclusion for the climate semester, the start-up service offers a game-based online workshop together with game developer Antonia Bartning. In the game you can develop innovations to solve the great challenges of our time or take your semester projects to a new level. You will also learn a lot about sustainable business management. Whoever wants to can present the idea in a public pitch at the end - there are cash prizes of 700€ for the best ideas to win.
The game "Pitch Your Green Idea!" brings the topic of sustainable corporate management closer to the players. In the game's protected space, creative ideas are developed to solve urgent social and ecological problems. Decisions can be reflected upon without having to fear actual effects on the actual reality. In the game, new business ideas can be created or existing ideas can be further developed from a sustainability perspective.
We start on Thursday, 16.07 with two hours to get started and then continue on Friday, 17.07. The voluntary public pitch will take place as part of the climate show with online live voting and award ceremony on Zoom. The workshop will take place virtually.
The number of participants is limited. Registration is free of charge until 14 July.
